Question re: possible oil leak?

I was out checking my oil and other fluids before my trip to Tuckerman's Ravine tomorrow and noticed some fluid that looked like oil around the left spark-plug wire on my valve cover.

My car has almost 7k miles and has had 2 oil changes. I wiped the fluid off and will check it after my trip tomorrow.

Anyone else have this problem with their engine when it was in its first 10k miles?

Could be from your oil change. Sometimes the service tech may have let some oil drip onto your valve cover, which runs down over the cover. Wouldn't bother me too much.

Keep an eye on it though

I don't believe it was from the last oil change and the car does not burn oil. I checked it after my 400 miles of driving yesterday and saw nothing there. I will have to keep an eye on it over the next couple of months. Thanks guys.....
