Hey just as a cool feature the 2001 ES shares the same rear doors as the Protege 5. Wat makes this interesting is that the P5 stores a pair of speakers there while the ES uses the rear deck to store there back pair of speakers. If you want its a very simple install to connect a 3rd pair of speakers. It adds much more to that surround sound effect =)

Although make sure you use an actual 6 speaker system. Otherwise you may actually lose sound quality.
