Ever Get "All Up On Her?"

Just wanted to know how all of you drive your Pro's. I mean, sure, baby it so she's happy, but it's also a car. It's meant to be driven. By driven, I don't mean bagging on it, but you know, DRIVE it!
So, how often do you guys (and girls) get "all up on it?" I heard somewhere that it's bad for your car if you don't every once in awhile. Don't know if that's true or not, but whatever.
I'm 17, so of course I have a heavy foot (within reason.) As soon as it's good and warmed up (after about 30 mins of normal driving) it's ok to bounce out the ****. I DO baby my car, but I see it as something that's meant to be driven. I look at it in the garage, and she's crying for me to drive her, hard and fast. (Just the way any girl likes it! LOL!
)
So, tell us how you drive your Pro on a daily / weekend cruise basis!

when no one else in in the car with me (would be a great shame if i hurt some one else becuase i was driving hard) i will get on it every now and then. i have a lot of stop lights between my home and work, so at least once a day i will red line it, but then i am am cruising at 60mph for half the ride, too. also, if i happen to be driving a twisty road i know well, i will push the corners a little harder.

Goddamn right cars are meant to be driven. Just don't send a rod through your hood

I'm not much of a "redliner" - partly because my P5 is an auto, and partly because I just don't like doing it, and the Pro doesn't impress me when pushed hard that way, so why bother. I didn't buy the car to be a speed freak.
The only time I get on her is when I have to - merging, passing a moron, squeezing into the next lane in front of the riceboy with the "not in front of me" attitude. And the little 2.0L handles it all just fine.
I DO, however, LOVE the curves, and you don't need to redline to enjoy that. I feel it puts less of a beating on the car, and more of a beating on me (where it belongs
). I've taken only a few too hard - this car can really be pushed. I'm always amazed when I hit some of the decreasing-radius ramps around here - I'm booking around that thing hardcore, then the turn gets even tighter, and all I need to do is let up a just a little bit, and crank the wheel, and the mighty Mazda obeys all commands. This is a great handling car, especially for a front-wheel-driver.
That's how I "get on her"!

i drive the hell out of my car, on a daily basis. i never shift below 4500, and grab the ebrake to slide around a corner or two atleast once a week.
my car loves being pushed, even when i abuse the hell out of it. i'll start driving normal soon though, it snowed tonight... so can't drive all super crazy anymore. damned ice!
time for snow drifting!
