Unhappy I tried but she still boought a Honda

So my neighbour bought a new car and unfortunately it is a 2002 black Honda Civic LX. Okay nothing against the Honda as it is a nice car but it is not a Mazda . Oh well, I tried as she kept looking at my P5 for quite a while and I kept telling her all the nice features.

I did notice some interesting or should I say an ugly thing though. On the front bumper, Honda has moulded as part of it, a flat area for the front plate. It is not even an add on but part of the bumper moulding. Looks crappy in my opinion. At least with ours we have the two little indents so it does not change the lines. Just an observation. I guess it would depend if your state/province has one then this point is moot.

Chris,
I've seen that part on the civic front bumper that you're talking about.....so ugly!!

Oh well...you tried your best and it's obvious that she's just not Mazda material. LoL!!

Maybe she doesn't deserve a Mazda afterall

it's okay, you gave it your best shot, but you just couldn't help her, she was too far towards the dark side to be converted hehe

Yup, I guess you're right. Anyway, the thing is she was probably predisposed to the Honda as her boyfriend is kinda a Honda guy as he has a Prelude he was giving her but it did not work out for one reason or the other. He also drives a Porsche Boxster so I can't fault him for everything .

She was telling me she wants to change out some of the trim inside with another type and how so much was available for the Honda. All I said was "well, that's because it's a Honda and many people upgrade them and have been for a while now". I was about to say "Because it's a Rice Wagon" but I bit my tongue.

The more I see it, I am not too crazy about the shape. Personally I still think it looks like many of the other North American cars but that's just me .

yeah but shes probably not an AUTOMOTIVE ENTHUSIAST!!! Honda Civics are very good cars, they get Excelent gas millage, good room (no hump in the back like ours, but our cars can have AWD ), good options, resonable price. Looks is probably not a HUGE issue if a person just needs a reliable daily driver
________
Honda domani specifications
