OK I wasn't there but this is what happen......
This guy in a CRX was buggin a guy that drives a 89 RX-7 to race him....and they. Well to make a long story short. They went out and got it on. The guy in the RX7 wrecked and Flipped 4 times. He was airlifted to INOVA. The guy i the CRX left with the rest of the ppl that was there. He didn't want anything to do with it.


All I want to say is Street Racin is for dumb asses.

Couldn't agree with you more. A friend of a friend from Texas A&M, together we (drove three seperate cars to carry quite a big group) went to South Padre Island one Spring Break many years ago. He wrecked his CRX as we were all coming back from vacation, because he wanted to race an Integra. I saw him flip his car twice over through a turn and he was soooo damn fortunate to have all his passengers come out of that accident with just minor bruises.

well first of all street racing is not for dumb asses i personaly do it myself. I agree that it is dangerous but that is what makes it fun. Just because you dont agree or like it does not make it wrong or stupid to do it. The thing i hate more is people that are all show and no go. I mean if your going to fix up your car performance wise then frikin race it. I love the street race and the track racing so i am offended by what you wrote after all nobody is telling you to do it. so please next time watch what you say because next time you say something like that the post is not going to be that nice because afterall their is a lot of street racers on this site.

I agree there are certain places to street race. Obviously when i do street race i do it outside of residental or commercial areas. we usually go outside of city limits or to roads that are not subject to heavy traffic (either cars or peds). I agree with you if we are doing it in a way that is putting people in harms way is wrong.

I used to own a RX-7 Turbo 87
man it was a rush to drive that light weight car

I agree that racing (in general) is risky
personally I only race when I think its save for me and others
ie clear road (that also means) no marbles (eg rocks)
I mean there are people that make the wrong choise
and then there are people that endanger others
that includes people not racing.
for example you racing some super loud civic
in 4 lane then some *** hole thinks
"damn racers" and pulls out infront.
I've seen it happen. so yea if you like to race
just think about you surrondings.
