I raced on a track in my brother's AE86 tuned with his friends Integra Type-R (Japan Spec) before. We launched by dropping the clutch. First gear, I pulled about 1 car length on him, and then I shift into second and get another car length. Then he shifts into second and fly forward, leaving me half a car behind. I then shift into third and get back a one car lead, turning about 140km/h at 7000rpm. He follows to no avail, and is left even further behind one car length, then I put it into fourth at 150km/h, and he gives up after I reach 170km/h with about 2 car lengths on him.

The AE86 with a modified NA 1.6L runs a 5 second 0-60.

hmm .. well mine would have to be what took place tonight , fun yet embarising ...... anyway here goes

I have my 95 protege dx 1.5 , my boy has a 2000 accord ex 2.0 4 cyl. and my other boy has a civic coupe ex , like a 95 96 , with 1.6L vtec .... anyway we are all chilling at the spot, where everyone shows there cars in yonkers , in front of Khols , usually there are a ton of cars there but police SHUT IT DOWN tonight .. so we are chilling across the street and leave early ,, anyhow we decide to leave, and are getting on the highway .... we get on and the civic is in the front , the accord behind him and me behind the accord, we get on the highway and floor it , I rev out 2nd all the way to 6500 , then boom 3rd to 6500,,, and I am keeping up with them at this point straight to 80 mph ,,, then I hit 4th and am approching 90 mph ,,, still behind them however, so I am keeping up until about 99mph and they just start to pull away from me ,, the accord very rapidly and civc slowly... my car for some odd reason , would not go above frigin 100mph ,, I could not figure why , and I know at this point they are doing like 125 or so , and i am frigin stuck at 100 ,, frigin sucks.... needless to say I really lost this race ...... so anyway we get off and get on a side road and there is a long straight that you can really let your ride go on ,, so we get on there and we do a rolling start , offcourse I am in the back again , we go and this time I am keeping up with them right up to the top of 3rd gear ,, but start to fall behind when into 4th... I am thinking , that my car really needs some top end tuning ... mater of fact a damn engine change,... needless to say this 1.5L is going the first chance I get and the 1.8L will be shoved in ...

On a good note , the civic is lowered with ground control coilovers, and handles really shitty ,, when he got to the corners he had to brake up , where I did not even tap the break , my car would just go right around the cornes ,, really good handling , just no power to back the car up ....
