So me and my buddy are bored so we just go driving aorund tonight and we are just driving down the road around35 or so and one of the new 6cylinder ford thing car come up nex to use and starts yelling at us.... and hten they speed up and go on.. so the stop light here are our buddies at the light... we take off ad i pull ahead for a sec or two but then he takes off and wel ltahts the end of it except his car finnally decides to shift(its an auto) and i friggin heard the transmission slip!... I didnt know an auto could slip... it was funny i laughed scared the **** out of him as he slowed down and i passed him going the speed limit laughing... but i still lost :-(

autos are slipping constantly while stopped and slip while accelerating or decelerating

that slippage is what hurts gas mileage and especially performance
