As an added apology, I have removed that word from the initial post.

back on topic.........

I used to have the same mentality about Korean cars, well sometimes i still do, but they have just as much potential as any other car, but still sometimes it is just a hyundai. It all depends on what your goals are. In some aspects Hyundais have way more aftermarket support then us Mazda owners, well first genners anyway. I know a guy with a 14 Second Hyundai Accent w/ an auto tranny. Of course it cost him almost 4 grand but it was running 22's. And that car would whup up on most of the Mazda's here.

All you homosexuals out there on this board are ******* take that "gay" word too seriously.

Obvoiusly you are ashamed of being gay, or else you wouldn't act like that.

Just calling a car gay doesn't mean ANYTHING towards homosexuals. So, geez, get real.

If I see a car that looks stupid or has too many stickers on it or something like that, I'll say "maaaan, that's a gay car....."

Ugh.

Obviously some can acknowledge when they're offending people, and some cannot. I appreciate Viper's apology, as I'm sure he did not realize what he was saying.
Certainly I'd be blue in the face by now if I tried to say something everytime the word "gay" were used non-literally or the pink limp-wristed smiley is used. Those references are still mildly offensive, but not as much so as throwing the word "****" around in relation to people. So what is the non-literal translation of "****" when directed towards people?
People who by nature have no taste? People who are generally deserving of your ridicule? What?

I dont understand why people both Homosexual and straight use the word gay or *** when they mean "Happy" and "cigarette" Im confused.

I do admit though that when I use those terms my wife gets on me about it. From now on when ever I see something stupid Im going to call that "Straight" You homosexuals are welcome in using my new term.

Yo man that straight!!!

hey check out that body kit. Yo man thats straight!!

HAHA look at tha guys wing, thats sooo straight!! .

Hmm. Doesnt seem to work. Oh well I tried. Ill just not speak anymore.

I do think it can be offensive to people and thats why I just dont say it.

Yeah, here we use "straight" all the time too.

ex. Me: Do you need help?
Somebody: No. I'm straight.

or like some said before, "Damn Straight".

But back on topic,

I would say, you're a pretty good driver to beat a Tiburon...while also saying the Tiburon driver wasn't too good.

But I don't sleep on Hyundai's, especially the 5sp. I've seen one get up and go...lol

There was a Tiberon in Sport Compact Car's Ultimate Street Car Challenge a couple of years ago that would do low 10's in the quarter. He had turbocharger and was running on alchohol with an automatic trans. He had the same setup in the back. Two engines, 2 transaxles, 4 wheel drive. It was total sleeper cause he blacked out rear windows. He also won the burnout competition. Front in reverse and rear in drive. They wrote that it was unbelieveable. I don't know if the owner was straight or gay.
