A Tiburon is still just a Hyundai!

I love these little Goofs that drive Hyundai Tiburons. I was driving down Calgary Trail tonight on my way home when a red Tiburon, pulls up next to me. the only mod he had seemed to have done, was red Tire-fly's (the goofy little Red lights taht flash on the valve stems of a car). So at 34th ave we are revving a little, and bang the lights turn green. So i mat it, catch the Friction point just right and we are racing. So I decide that 120km/h is the fastest I will go and Low and behold...I was 1/2 a carlength ahead of him. Now I know it is not a 'cake walk' or anything but this Hyundai piece of crap was a V6, so I was pretty happy that I didn't lose, let alone that I won. In fact I even told my wife just before we took off that I would proabably lose to him because It was a V6. I guess I was wrong.

I love my car!

Umm... a faster car will always beat a slower one especially in a straight line. Unless, he wasn't trying.

Um, what's that about? You think you're better because you drive a Mazda and you're straight?
I personally don't know any "****" that drive Tiburons. And I know several that drive Proteges.
I won't even bother addressing the bigotry behind your statement.

I second that Nate. Though I dont much care for Korean cars, I as a homosexual did not like the reference of "**** driving tiburons". I think that there is no grounds for that. You could have just said people. I dont know what you meant by that but I think you should have to apologize for saying that.

Thank You

Garrett

No point that I can see.

ambiguous = open to more than one interpretation

So far, I don't think either he nor I have been ambiguous.

I guarantee that he was trying, but probably didn't know how to shift.

Cool your jets, you guys! I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that there's been more than one interpretation of "gay" on this forum.
My point is that both of you guys are being WAY to sensitive. "Gay Tiburon owners" is not a personal attack on you. It's slang, nothing more. Get over it . We all know that you guys are gay, and that's cool. That's the lifestyle that you chose. It doesn't give you the right to make everyone else constantly walk on egg shells.
So there it is. Sorry if I offended you, I guess the cartoon was kinda childish, I'm just speaking my mind. Peace.

Yea, "***" or "gay" as a general insult is a really quick and mindless way of saying absolutely nothing at all. I prefer to be more precise and thoughtful with my insults.

You guys are right. I had no right to bring sexual preference into that/or any discussion in that way. The term is used so loosely in conversation that I didn't even think that I might be offending someone with those comments. Please accept my deepest apologies. As a Canadian, I would like to think that I could be more open-minded than that. Unfortunately, I was wong! I was being rude, and insensitive. And for that I repeat "I am Sorry".
