Still going... Lancer OZ
After my freak engine incident I guess I just couldn't let go of the urge to take the ES to the line once more.
I met this guy who had just gotten a Yellow Lancer OZ. While many others were chilling and showing of neons/hydros we took a peek at that 120hp SOHC That is a good looking car...I like the lines of the MP3 better, but the I have to give the Lancer it's props. In the 30 or so minutes we were chilling we built a custom intake for him to last him a few days until he made/ordered a decent one.
On the way home we caught a red light together. I'll admit I had a terrible launch and hopped my wheels quite a bit. Catching traction it was a steady pull through first. Half a car, then second, a car length. And stopped in 4th about 3-4 cars ahead. We are going to goto the track on Wednesday night for a more fair race and to check timeslips. He had a passenger, plus he's stock except for the hacked airbox. I'll tell you how it goes.
