Talking The mighty nissan fights back~MMM Cavalier DINNER

Well i hadnt really gotten many chances to race my little SE-R till tonight. Ended up finally meeting up with our local street racein krew.... some sick rides among them, hell a 11 second neon and supra...... now thats sick. but anyways.... the night starts:

11:45: we met up around a abandon car dealer lot (big area).... all hang around waiting for everyone to show up (50 or so cars... maybe more) talk ****, watch some people act stupid.... and of course talk about our cars. Well the cops decide to show up, so we all head out to sams club.... no tickets were given (not trespassing anywhere)

12:15: everyone shows up at the sams club lot, about 3 miles away. we continue talking and ****, kinda a mini car show. then we decide to get refresments at hy-vee (grocerie store), gots some dew, and bought a **** load of donuts (haha 50 cents for 20)....

anywyas on with the good stuff

1am: every meets up on HWY 77, new asphault 4 lane hwy, not patroled or anything... the supra and neon always start the night with a good laugh... this time the neon won.... the supra won the last few times.

2am: after a bunch of people race i had my turns. i line up, and some cavaliers decide they want at me. fine by me. (remember i have bald tires) so the first z24 is a early 90s 3.1 v6 with wheels and tires.... i dont even bother launching the car, insead granny start and then gun it.... i had him by a car length in first, shift two second, 3rd then done.... beat by 3 car lengths at 80ish mph.

go back, my friends applaud my win, and i say good race to the other d00d who is of course pissed.... lol good sportsmanship on my side....

anyways, so next up, another gd z24, now a 1997 with a cai, wheels (15lbs) and kumho tires. well we both launch it (im afraid to **** of these cars cause they are said to be faster than my car stock...) anyways i burn out like **** cause of the bald tires. anywyas, he shifts to second 3/4s of the way through my 1st gear, so im still pullin up on him hard, i shift to second and just jump up to even with him, pull hard through 2nd and have a little over him, then through 3rd and 4th i left his ***, i had about 3 car lengths on him by the end. great race!

back there, my friend who owns the car gave my car some lovin....lol, he always figured, as did everone else, that his car would win by a little over mine.... but i won plain and simple..... so i gained some great respect among everyone! fun night....

of course on the way home, we live close to eachother, we went at it again, with the same outcome.... funny stuff

lol. true....not all are fast. I had an '87 stock basic model sentra, and i swear i coulda pushed it faster than the engine did (no, not realllly, i know some1 somewhere's, gonna try to take me seriously on that ), but anyways, it was pretty damn slow.

but my se-r does me good speed wise, ill be dropping a Bluebird SR20DE-T in it by the end of the year, and hope to run ~250hp to the wheels

lol i know what you mean, i got my first ticket this summer (im 17) of 230 bucks.... 30 over, 71 in a 45....oohhhh

but ya, itll be very sleeper like, im not gonna do much to the exterior, except the stillen front lip, side skirts, and rear lip.... and of course some light weight rota wheels.... but thatll be pretty suddle, look nice, but definately sleeper fashion. oh, but there will be that scoop in the hood for the intercooler

heres a few pics of the engine that is droppin in:

what a beautiful engine! pretty decent price too, i can get one for $800-$1200 with pretty low miles. the coolest thing about the sr20 engines that im told, is the crank is 500hp capable.....

Hell yeah!....thats what i'm talkin' 'bout right there....looks like a kicka$$ engine (especially w/ the IC)....when it comes to nissans, Stillen's the only way to go body modification wise. Sounds like you know exactly what your doin' .....i'm not 4 sure, but have you thought to check with Jim Wolfe Tech. about turbos, fuel regulators, fuel mapping, ECU's etc.? I'm not sure if he does work on Sentras, but he does miracles for Z's, and i figure since that a nissan also, he should be able to hook you up w/ a lil somethin, somethin for your Spec-V.
