haha - mine revs too dang fast anyway... it's at 6500 before you know it (light flywheel)
i usually shift at 4500-5500

i dunno when i shift i have no tach lol i just know the max speed i can get outta each gear and thats what i do when racing which ain't to good but.....mayb i'll getta tach someday

damn that must be tricky driving a stick car with no tach man, probly wouldnt be too hard to get an aftermarket one on the dash, but imo that looks ricey

^ yeah thats why i still don't hve one lol i'm thinking of getting a small one to put in a pillar pod that way it wouldn't look so bad....actually i've never had a stick shift car with a tach my old protege was a dx also and didn't have a tach when i drive other peoples cars with tachs i never really use it anyway you can just kinda feel when you need to shift gears

yeah automatic sucks, i'm so sick of it, but i dont think im gonna be getting the manual/auto swap any time soon tho haha

and Thapro1-- yeah definately get the tach either in the pillar, or get one of those steering column pods...driving on sound/feel is fine if u have practice, i guess ive never driven stick without one so i wouldnt know

I dunno man...I can go off the sound alone....you just have a knack for it....it's like women while your stroking, you gotta listen so you know whether to gear up or gear down...can you dig it?

haha yeah well i only get to drive stick (dads car) like 4 or 5 times a year besides backing my roomates car out of the driveway, so yeah, hopefully my next car will be stick so ill be able to get that good stroke down lol
