Exactly, the repairs section is intended to inform others of TSB's.

More to the point, I will say that I don't agree with my fellow Grand Ammer's belligerence, but I want to let you guys know that a stock grand am can pull .87 G's in the lateral skid. Now I can't spout a lot of examples of what cars do what, but that's not a strict straight-line car.

Off topic, I'll add that I'm sad to see the RX-7 go, I liked that car as well.

Where did this suff on repair and quality blow up out of a race story?? Simply put, we saw you thought GA's weren't that fast, we were here to inform you (some in different ways) otherwise, so stop changing the subject and give us props where we deserve. It's people like yourselves (some of you on this thread) that **** us off because they won't respect us, and then when we beat you heads up the name calling or excuses start. Put our info in the FYI file and leave it at that...any car can be made to beat another car to some extent...but quite frankly on a whole, our GA's can beat your Protoge's.

truth hurts doesn't it....good thing you don't represent the rest of the guys on this board because obviously your a ****** ***** in denial.

You have to be cognizant of what you say on message boards even if it is your own, because people are always lurking! Maybe if some people didn't spout off **** they had no clue on things would have been different

not in denial at all...I realize Grand Am's are faster than Protege's in general...I also realize that a Protege(even a base model) outhandles any model Grand Am any day of the week and are way more reliable than a Grand Am....so obviously you are in denial that Grand Am's are generally pieces of ****....I also get a little tired of guys with other cars joining just to post a few flames

If you read my posts I never joined to start flames...it was when people were stuck up ******** that I replied like that. And where is all this info anyway that Protoges are more reliable and better handling??? You might outhandle an SE, but I doubt a GT. And since most of us here are moded to begin with, I'll bet our cars with Eibachs or H&R's will outhandle you equivalently. You want to make this thread ugly, we can do that! While your at it, why don't you pick up all your **** and move over seas

well as far as handling is concerned the MP3 was in Road & Track in road test of the 10 best handling cars,in which the next closest price car was in the neighborhood of about $60K....in the slalom i think it was beat by maybe 2 cars...I believe it was a Lotus Elise and a Ferrari, but pulled a more than respectable 67+mph in the slalom...for some reason I just didnt see a Grand Am in there...also The Protege is the best handling in it's class...as far as reliability for most people all I have to say is MAZDA...but i'll spout an example...Consumer Reports has the Protege #1 best in class in reliability for 8 years running...somehow I'm guessing that the Grand Am is not a best in class in reliability...I'll go check it out..If I'm wrong fine I'll eat crow...but I dont' ever remember seeing a pontiac ANYWHERE in consumer reports as a good buy

205-size high performance rated tires with 17 in Racing Harts on a highly tuned suspension, light car, and power lacking motor....it better handle good. In fact, it better do 60 degree turns at 70

Wow IrateG...according to that table the MP3 finished second to last in the group, granted it was in an unmatched class as far as power and cost. But God help us, the GM product performed the best..CORVETTE ZO6 at .98G!!!!!

RICE RICE RICE RICE RICE RICE RICE RICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you only own a foriegn car, you have no pride for this country!!! You buy a cheap, poorly made car, from some stupid far east place, helping to contribute to another countries govt. So then they can turn around and stab us in the back...Did anyone forget Peral Habor?????? I didn't!!!!!!!!!! My grandfather fought in that war!!!! Now I'm not raceist towards any person in the world (except the damn taliban and BinLaden) I have Chinesse, Japanesse, Koren friends!!! And they agree with me on that point!!!! Now would you buy a car from the Taliban in 20 years after we forgive them for sneak attacking us????? If you have any intellegence at all, think about what I just said............

that is about the biggest load of crap I've ever heard...buy american!..guess what...Mazda's profit's are part of Ford's,the original American car company!...besides look where the "BIG 3" are rated in overall quality and reliability...I work for Ford and I would buy a Toyota or Honda before one of the Big 3....besides half of GM's engines are Suzuki or Isuzu anyway!

the original American car company was (and currently is) Oldsmobile... it's the world's oldest automaker...and when it ends production... Mercedes-Benz takes over the title as World's oldest... Ford will THEN become the oldest nameplate in America
