Rac3rX Protege Pics, and Some Videos (56K BEWARE)
Here is My Protege.
She started off as a Stock 2002 Protege LX 2.0L (Completly Naked, minus the standard options, this means no cruise controle, no roof, no Air conditioning) She had 600 klicks on her as She was a Display modle, the 800 klicks knocked off $4500 of the sticker price (It also got me 2 years free oil and service, but I havnt used it EVER, and my one attempt put me on a 4 month waiting list to get crap oil put in, No Thanks.) All in all it was a great buy, I havnt regreted the choice once.
The Mod list is short, but browing all the time.

That sucks, for me Streetfire work on some PC's at work & Not at others. If you got a spot at home to check them out, its worth it, the Compilation has lots of sweet Vids, 3 MSP vs SRT-4's MSP Wins, a 12 second P5 Run, a Mazdaspeed Protefe Beating a FD RX-7, a N/A Protege Beating a Mazda3 2.3L & a Civic V-tec (That was me) For Protege Lovers there are some sweet sites to see in the vid.

I get people trying to race me all the time, nothing but punks though. Even last night, I had some Weekend Warrior on a Bike try to run me. It was a Joke. All I did was pull next to him at the light, and when it Turned Green, I launched and he took off at the same time, but his F-ing cruser bike got left behind like a Punk. Me Im not even thinking anything of it really, I didnt try to race, I just launch and shift high from time to time, for no good reason other then its fun. The Dude on the Bike got pissed or something, but he get Right next to me at the light, and while waiting he would scope me out, and he kept his throttle engaged like 15-25% the whole light, and when the light for the crossing street turned red he jerked forward, BUT our light has a delay before it turns green so hes jerking back and forth moving a inch forward at a time (What a idiot) and at this point hes past my front bumper and slightly in my lane (If I were to race him, Id have to run him over.) Finally when the Light hits green, he Takes off like a Bat out of Hell, all proud he just raced a Protege who wasnt racing but laughing at him.
This is not the first time I pulled next to some Weekend Warrior on a Bike who wanted to race (I think maybe learning to drive the Bike should be the priority before attempting to race anybody) There was a chick on a Bike who after hearing me Power past her, starts Revving next to me at the ligfht down the street, as the light hits Green her Cruiser bike Roars like a MONSTER, I just Pull past and keep gaining distance, I heard her shifting and I was scared the bike would fly out from under her. Obviously she was clueless as to what she was doing. But Im sure the few added pounds of luggage attachments or add ons these Weekend warriors add on to there Honda Hoggs, they arnt the quickest but DAME do they make noise. Im sure they can go quicker with someone who has a clue as to what they are doing.

Keep up the good work. Even the tails aren't too ricey.
I am happy to see you keep your racing on the track & not the street, that's hard to do sometimes, but it's the smart thing...
Your car is just begging for a drop, tho'---next mod?

I get mad wheel hop with this car, its soo bad that sometimes at the beginning of a Race the hop causes my windsheild wipers to come on, people keep asking me why I race with them going all the time, I just leave them on till the end as Im focust on getting good shifts. But Its really getting on my nervs.
Im hoping the Motor mounts and Lower stiffer springs will cut this out.
I havnt raced yet with my new 17 inch Rims, Should I expect the wheel hop to be better or worse, then with my 15 inch steelies Im used to racing in?
Suprisingly the Rims are not too much hevier then the Steelies, but they are a bit hevier.
