When you said you cut the "teeth" out of the lower grill didyou cut out everthing? or just the ones going up and down and left the middle one going across? what did you use to cut and how did you cover up the parts you cut off?

 

I cut all the pieces including the middle bar. I used a very sharp saw and sanded the edge and touched it up with paint on the edge. As you can see I mounted lights in the lower grille and they cover the edge of the center bar so they can't be noticed.
