newfiep5, i think u're taking this too personal
It's just a general discussion here... everyone has their own dislikes/likes, so you don't have to take out anything.
Now back to my question. can H4 be used in the P5? Because you mentioned that it had a H4 adaptor that houses the H7 bulb. So if i stick a H4 bulb in, would it work?

bulbs
your right ..I had a bad weekend...
sorry if i seem a bit defensive.....
the lights the the protege 5 are H7's
one filiment
they have this black (1 inch) black adapter that you plug the h7 into...when you plug it in to this black plastic piece it has wider plugs...anyway it looks like a h4 bulb then..but i dont think a h4 will work..

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Finally changed my foglight bulbs to superwhite bulbs...they look really nice... a whiter tint with a slight hint of blue...this looks much better than the creamy stock color... It matches my headlights more since I have real Lexus Xenon lights... ABout the blinding...man...cars used to highbeam me left and right after I installed the HIDs... but i didn't care...i thought they were suppose to be that bright until a cop stopped me and asked me if was driving with my highbeams... I just re-aimed the headlights to shine lower and I guessed hopefully that helps...or else i don't give a ****... I love them and I'm not taking them off... Now everything is superwhite or blue... except for the stupid amber sidemarkers...waiting for clear ones... cheap clear ones... $159 is a bit too much...

I took a look at a subura wrx model. I dont see a fog light shield on their lights!?!? nor on their outback line. I wish would get 10ft of distance. My fog lights get me 1ft infront of the car. I plan on removing the shields and testing with that. I want atleast 10-20 ft of that light directly on the road to show yellow and white lines. Our lines are really bad on rt 44, plus this should help give me some light at the corners of the car so I can see curbs.

I bought 2 sets of lights from ebay from www.plasmalights.com, the lights actually come from www.plasmaindustries.com. I got a set of H4 and H3 and shipping for $32.50US, great price. They have a TINCH of blue in them, but are honestly, NOT as bright as my stock lights that came. The difference is really noticed on the highways because the beam seems to cover more of the road, which really makes driving on the highways much better. I haven't had anyone flash me, and I guess thats cuz they aren't honestly not too bright, which I'm happy with. I don't need cops pulling me over, but will they pull me over for the tinch of blue?
I have after market offroad pilot fog lights on my car, which I have SLIGHTLY pointed downwards so they don't blind anyone, I hate being blinded myself. The glass of the fog lights have a tint of yellow, so its partially white, but the beam from the bottom lights it yellow. It looks pretty good, I'm happy with my $32.50US spent.
