did you change the fog bulbs?? Question, these have to be the worst fog lights I've seen. The bulb has a cap covering the top of the bulb. I get light to about 10ft. in front of the car. (I was thinking about pulling the bulb and bending it up) Not that I use them here in Calgary... but it would be nice when I do they throw some light on the road.

newfiep5, so do you think they are actually brighter or just look cooler/whiter? It's quite hard to see from the video. Could you take a picture from inside the car so we can get a driver's perspective and see how birght it is.

I know some cheap ones just don't give 1/2 as much brightness compared to the factory ones. Here's a link for more info:

to be honest...yes your right cooler and whiter...

they dont produce brighter wattage like they say they do however..it is easy to see the road..

i bought em for the cool factor i gotta say...the bright white is really nice...much better then the yellowish from the originals
they are still not as good as real HID but the next best thing..however i have had people flash their lights so they must look alot brigher to oncoming traffic

Same here...I have had numerous people flash thier lights at me. I have PIAA's Platinum Super White's H4 and these baby's are bright. But it is kind of annoying to be driving down the highway and have 4 cars flash thier lighs at ya. I started flashing them back to let them know that they weren't my highbeams Maybe not the best idea but I felt better

MP3-Owner, you mean the MP3 uses H4???

newfiep5, i remember you had a post in the other forum saying some guy clarified about H7 and H4 adapter stuff...

But isn't H7 single filament while the H4 has high and low beams in it????? i used to drive a Civic and it used H4.

is there a difference between US and Can version p5 (light bulbs)?

I'm REALLY confused here....

if cars are consistently flashing their lights at you, maybe you should double-check how your headlights are aimed..
of course, you shouldn't be driving normally with fog lights since they're really distracting to other drivers.

it's great for you if your new lights are brighter than before, but if oncoming traffic can see nothing but your headlights, then that's pretty damned unsafe =)

It's not that at all...my friend has a new acura with true HID lights and people are always flashing their hi beams....its just they think they are hi beam as they are a different tint..

its not like everyone are flashing just 3-4 times ion the last week i've noticed it..

There is definately a reason the fog lights are pointed down and have those "hoods" on them and it's for that exact reason. Too many people run around replacing bulbs in their cars ending up with misaligned headlights and foglights and have bulbs that appear brighter but don't really do much more than the stock lights other than **** other drivers off.

I hate people that have lights that blind you, it's useless, and one of these days when I'm having a bad day I'll swerve into them and blame it on their lights. People want to have the BMW look, but still don't have it. I'm a big fan of HIDs, but I hate the HID look-alikes, there's many times when I'm going up this very narrow road, and just as I hit a pretty tight corner, somebody with those passes by and blinds me momentarily where I have to guess which way the road's going. Put neon lights inside or the underbody neonglow instead......

lights

as i said i dont find the lights that blinding...
they are just a different hue/tint in being white instead of yellow...
some people complain of loud music or exhausts, tinted black light covers, anyway i'm not going harping on the subject anymore but if you have a complaint about the lights write to PIAA/Razo/ and the billion others companys who make em..oh put a complaint in about loud exhausts too ..oh and all those loud stereo's in the cars too..yadda yadda yadda...

no hard fellin's but i'm not taking my lights out...I love em
as do most of my friends
