The hood protector looks interesting but it also seems to be kind of dull. Plus the film seems to be very thick, so the edges will be notable especially in cars with darker paint.

I prefer my hood with its simple, clean lines.

 

Actually, it is very transparent. Unless you look very closely, you won't notice it.

It is 8 mil thick... don't confuse it w/ the StonGard light which is 80mil.

Maybe a sample of the material is in order, for close examination...
