Thumbs up WoW

This is a true deal... I might be interested. I haven't looked into the seatbelt latching mech. Do they come off our OE seats? That would be my only real concern....

Thanks,
jim

On the Recaro website they listed the "Speed" in black/grey. Is this the same as the black/silver you posted? Prolly close enough. I guess the "Speed" is the same as the "Arospeed", huh? They look identical to your pics, except they have a "Recaro" logo across the headrest instead of "Arospeed" or nothing (like the red seat you listed).

When I searched under Mazda, I chose the 323 for '89-'94. That should be the same as 1st gen Pro I think. And that's my biggest concern, getting them to fit into my '94 LX. Plus, I'm only 5'8" and I know these seats will sit too low without some sort of adapter or spacer.

But if all this will work and fit, you can DEFINITELY count me in!

The seat belt lath is utilized from the stock seat, very simple install.

Yeah these have the arospeed logo stiched in white. The grey/black is actually a cool looking silver that looks like the mp3 seats.

If you can, get us a package price with mounting brackets.

Thanks,
Jim

Is it possible to get the belt latches from them too? Mine are all trashed - the plastic sleeves that are supposed to hold the latches upright are cracked and busted - the latches just kinda flop over . Also, I have the motorized shoulder belts, which I hate, but still need to keep. Then I have a seperate lapbelt with a catch that keeps the belt attached to the seat, instead of letting it go all the way down to the floor. I wonder if they have anything like that?

Back to the Recaro website (with is pretty cryptic b/c it's German), it lists the adapters like this:

Mazda 323 '89-'94 part # 68.07.19/29
Mazda 323F '89-'94 part # 68.10.19/29

I have no idea what a 323F is. Maybe the European equiv to LX vs. DX? It also states "For people with small stature it is recommended to use the spacer brackets". Again, I have no idea what this means, whether they're seperate from the adapters, or in lieu of them. BTW, they don't list any adapter choices for the 2nd/3rd gen Pro, P5, or MP3, and I'm only assuming that the 323 listing is the same as the North American 1st gen Pro. Sorry to ask so many questions! Maybe their site isn't the best source for answers and hopefully your vendor can be more helpful.

Red face

oops. i should check this forum more often .. that's a wicked deal.

those are like the Recaro SRD style not the speed (which is actually more expensive)

damn seat will cost me about $1000 CDN and then add another couple hundred on for OEM fabric (match the normal mp3 upholstery) ... $$$ boo

Here's the same seats for $529/pair, so $130 more. These guys pay for shipping on orders over $100 though, that could come close to making up the difference. FWIW

As long as seats aren't considered over-sized items.
