From what I understand from reading others comments on the forums the Osram silver stars are brighter then the U.S. Silver Stars because they don't have the blue coating on the bulb so you get a nice bright white light. if they are available on the powerbulbs site the same discount should apply. All you would need to do is email John and tell him your part of the group buy that Jared was organizing on protegeclub.com But I just searched the site and it says that 9004's are not available. You might want to email John and maybe he can point you in the right direction.

Hey Guys,

I ordered my bulbs this week and they should be here in about a week. I got my 10% refunded to my credit card promptly and customer service was excellent. I'll post some before/after pics after I get them installed.

Update:

I got my bulbs in tonight. I don't have pictures to show because the battery for my digicam was dead but seeing as how there are already pictures in the thread I'll just post them if someone asks for them. In a word, totally worth it, they are a nice and bright white! Here is hoping they last as long as a regular bulb does like the package says. Changing the bulbs on this car is a real pain in the ***.

I appreciate the group buy you set up. I ordered Osram H4 Silverstars and was notified that I will receive my discount. I'm looking forward to getting the bulbs so that I can install them and see the difference compared with the stock ones.

I'm expecting really good results since I have previously installed the Suvlights Heavy Duty Wiring Harness which should help to maximize any beneficial effect.

Once everything is in place, I'll come back and post the results of the change.
