Performance P5 stuff for sale
I have a few things for sale. I am returning to stock (as much as possible ) and trading in for MSP or Mazda6. Anyway, here they are:
1. Injen CAI (polished w/ red silicone couplers). Barely used and in brand new shape. $175 (comes with heatshield sock)
2. Eibach Pro Kit springs. Lowers approx. 1.5" front and back. Had them on the car for about 400 miles. Nice and broken in, but still barely used. $175
3. J-spec intake cam. Once again, only been in the car for about 500 miles. Journals and lobes lightly broken in. $125.
4. Phenolic manifold and throttle body spacers. Alraedy port matched to the head and manifold. Easy install and well worth it for $65.
Please e-mail me at jbmperformance@aol.com if interested. Thanks.

hi there!
you wouldn't happen to need stock springs in place of the eibachs would you? i have a set that has less than 5500 miles on them if you are interested. i just got the eibach set myself, so i have these springs taking up a grip of room in my small apartment. let me know if we can work something out. thanks for your time!

The thing is, they are barely even used. Not even all the way broken in. Never been reved past 5k rpm, so they are still practically new. Especially since I paid $175 shipped. I can't eat $75 just because I used it for a couple of weeks.
P.S: Nobody called anyone a dick, I just want to try and recover a fair amount from this stuff so I can soup up my next car.

???
By the way MackDaddy, why did you go from a WRX wagon to a P5? I would love to have a WRX wagon, and as a matter of fact, that is onew of the cars I am looking to trade in for. What is your opinion on it? I don't mean to go so far off topic, but I am interested to know your opinion. Thanks.

Honestly....
I loved the WRX wagon. Go to my web site and look at all the pics of blood, sweat, money, and time I poured into it. I do miss it... without a doubt.
The real driving force to dump it was loads of oil consumption (turbo blowby.) to the tune of 1.5 qts every 3k miles. SOA area rep didn't like me very much (can you say catless exhaust mods.) He tried to say the blowby was normal.... bullshit. I was just tired of fighting with him, and he wasn't going anywhere with resolutions.
I did get him to put a new clutch/pressure plate/flywheel in the car at 13k miles (that's bullshit too AFAIK.) But they're notorious for cold clutch shutter, and I couldn't tollerate that one bit.
All in all I wish I'd kept it. But at least the P5 has been trouble free so far (albiet slow.)
Don't let me scare you away from a rex. They kick serious ***. I'm 40, and really babied mine (like I've done with all my vehicles.) I just got no respect from the SOA rep, and didn't feel like fighting up the Subaru chain to get my car straightened out.

Cool, I am going to check one out tomorrow. I like the looks of the MSP better, but the performance of the Suby better. I would like to go N/A, but turbos have so much potential. I am still fighting my decision. I have a hand full of cars on my mind that cover the whole spectrum. It's just a matter of narrowing it down and making a decision.
