damn, where was this a couple months ago when i was asking around, figures, i just had my hood repainted rather than going with the CF and now this starts up....oh well, free bump and i guess if this takes as long as most group buys do, i may have the money for this in another 6 months lol

The make a OEM style hood, but only for the '01-'03 body. If you round up the money, put it away somewhere, 'cause it might take a while to get 15 people in...

 

Is it just me or does anyone not see the OEM style carbon fiber hood that VIS has go on to their site and look for yourself. I also called them about it and they confirmed it with me. I think the guy said $375 plus $125 shipping to the east coast.

Wow... I definatley didn't see that. Does it come with an OEM style latch, so we wouldn't HAVE to use hood pins?

 

yeah i saw that one when i was looking, but i was told you need the hood pins and it wouldnt pass PA inspection with that hood on, so i decided against it...

 

I am not sure on the hood pins thing but, I do know if you call them they are very helpful so they would be able to tell you anything.
