FS: Hella H.I.D. Lighting Kits, New 7000K Hue.. Good Price!

I finally have some more! I have *4* brand new in the box H.I.D. Kits For Sale..

The name of the manufacturer who packages these kits and makes the bulbs is Nam Yung Lighting.

The contents of the kits is as follows:

2 Hella Ballasts

2 "Eagleye" (Nam Yung Lighting) Bulbs/Arcs -- this is the newer design of bulb which hooks up to the ballast with 3 separate wires that run from the bulb to the ballast, rather than one thick connection, this insures that your headlight housing remains free of condensation and the bulbs have a solid base to ensure proper fitment.

Four Cable Ties, Sticky Double Sided Tape On Ballast (once it's activated) If You Don't Want To Use Screws, 6 Screws, and instructions..

I have this kit currently on my 2000 Mazda Protege and below is a picture of this kit in nightime operation.

The color is a much deeper purple hue then it appears in this picture, I will try to take a better picture over the weekend which actually shows the color of the output properly. It is the same intensity of purple/blue as a newer Acura TL.

The beam pattern is very good on my 2000 Protege, I will try to take some pictures this weekend from inside the car (if my digital camera can do it)

In stock I've got..

qty
1 9004 Kit (for Old School 90-98 Proteges low beam)
2 H7 Kit (for Protege 5 Low Beam)
1 H4 Kit (for 99-02 Mazda Protege Sedan low beam)

Price: $375 per kit shipped to your door UPS Ground anywhere in the United States..

I would prefer not to ship to Canada because there is more risk of damage while the kit goes through customs, however I will sell them to you if you insist. I cannot guarantee kits shipped to Canada, though.

Payment is by Cashier's Check, Money Order, or Paypal at this price..

These kits are new in the box, but since I am not a dealer I can only personally guarantee them for 7 days after your receipt, however keep in mind with high quality H.I.D. lighting there isn't really any component in the kit which is prone to fail in less then a good 3-5 years of usage.. there is no filament to snap in the bulb/h.i.d. arc to break over time.. the life expectancy of the bulbs should be over 3000 hours, while the ballasts should last indefinitely.. also the ballasts are Hella brand, not some unreliable Chinese made ballast like cheaper kits you will find out there.

Setup will be easy if you don't rush the installation and don't have daytime running lights. You will lose your high beam function (this applies to the sedans only, P5 will retain it's separate high beam bulb). If you are familiar with wiring your car's stereo or any electrical tasks you will probably be right at home installing these kits.. now that I know the process I could probably install a full kit in about 15 minutes. I can guide you through the installation if you need help.

H4 kits installed on sedans (DX/LX) typically require a relay kit (at least it did on my 2000 DX) because of the wimpy alternator output that goes through the headlight socket. ES's will probably only need a fuse replacement to a 20 amp or higher fuse in your fuse box to let the alternator initially start up. If you end up needing a relay kit, I can tell you where to get one. This is the same with almost all H.I.D. kits out there with one-piece ballasts.

H7 kits should be plug and play on the Protege 5, you will just need to replace your fuse box fuses with 20amp or higher so the power flows to start up the ballasts, your high beam should also still exist on the P5 with this kit, but it won't be H.I.D.

9004 kits should be an easy install involving just changing the headlight fuses in the fusebox to 20 amps or more..

that should cover most questions.. (and I give you a pat on the back for reading all the details), if not post back here or if it's private email me at tradr@mailcity.com

That's ok, you can see the kit in action on my car tomorrow at the Tech Meet in MD..

If you like them, you can buy them (I'm probably not bringing any along since I assume nobodys going there with a stuffed wallet anyway) sometime in the next couple weeks.
