Hella Optilux 2500 Angel Eye Fog Lamps!

Has anyone used Hella Optilux 2500 Series Angel Eye Fog Lamps?

I looked it up at Ebay and find that these fog lamps have the effect of a bimmer 5 series light with the round circular LED lights. I imagine these lamps will look cool on my Pro since I have had the MP3 conversion without the fog lights.

Nice ride Protege5Lava, nice color, nice lights. So are you using the 4 inches ones? I know that the Angels have a few different sizes. By the way, how did you install them? Do I need to take the bumper off? Thx a million !!!!!

hey Lava, how much and where did you get the HID's for the headlights? Looks really tight! I posted a comment under your guestbook because I am a member of sounddomain.

Ya, i think they are the 4 inch ones...so far no problems with them ...it comes with a switch that gives you 3 options:
1. Only angel eyes on
2. Only "fogs" on
3. All lights off...
I paid an arm and a leg for installation, and ya..he removed the whole bumper to install. No problem, glad i can be of help!

My buddy owns a car shop (mainly for BMWs and Benzs) and he imports HIDs directly from Japan... the brand is Xtec....it's 7000K.... He is interested in doing group buys so...maybe we can get one started. But to be up front with you guys...I don't know much about the technical stuff about HIDs, but I know they are freakin bright!! Let me know if there are enough interests and we can go from there...I've never started a group buy..so...maybe someone can give me a pointer or two... thanks!

Protege5Lava - you mentioned you paid shop to install the angel eyes - did you have the shop to re-done the wires and harness ? i know how to remove the fog lights myself, but if there's wires involved then i should have shop do it for me. one more thing i am dying to know - where did you get the angel eyes (link?) and what is the item number?

Ya, the wires were totally redone, by that I mean that he used all the wires supplied with the angel eyes kit, I know because I saw a lot of "new wires" all over the engine compartment, didn't do a good job, but when I get the chance i'm gonna hide all the wires with that red speaker wire tubing or whatever you call it. I got mine from a local auto parts shop, something like Kragen's or Autozone or something like that... you can also find it in Ebay. Look up angel eyes in the car parts section. I think i paid about 60 bucks plus tax from the local shop...hope this helps and good luck! if you have any other questions, go ahead and give me a holla!
