Hi, I don't post on here too often, but I have a festiva that had the problem of the shifter falling down, so I designed a bracket to fix the problem. Since the festiva uses the same type of shifter as most other FWD mazdas this bracket can be benefical to 323, protege, MX3/6 etc since they all use the same shifter, when the rubber donut wears out the shifter can fall through the floor. My bracket solves this problem, and does it without causing any binding in the shifting like you can get by bolting it in. My shifter bracket hold the shifter up without binding, and is a simple solution to this problem.
