You kind of lost me about what the "little cable with the beads" is. I haven't had the driver's door apart, but I know the rear motor is a motor with a gear that drives an arm with a gear and that's what drives the window up and I thought the front was the same. I'll take a look at this one and find out. I know that it did work because I've used all four a few times since I bought the car.
For the front it uses beads on a cable. When you pull the unit out there will be a rubber tube hanging off the bottom, if you pull that tube off you'll see what I mean

I'm going to the junkyard now to see if I can get one, cause I need one ASAP. I'll let you know if I need to buy it from you.

-Dave

/edit: bought the regulator from the junkyard.. paid 15 bucks canadian
they wanted 60 for the regulator and motor though

Good deal, glad to hear that you got it. (What's $60 Canadian?)

I already installed the power window motor, it works great!! My window is working for the first time since i bought the car (my old one had a bunch of water in it for some reason).

I also shoved in that center console...it looked a hella lot better after i cleaned it up and armor-alled it. Cupholder thing is faded a lil..oh well...

Mirrors are good. The passenger one was busted where they commonly bust , but the drivers one was fine. I had to cut the harness ot get the stupid plug out since it won't fit thru the diecast fitting.
Cool, glad to hear that you liked everything. Sorry 'bout the passenger mirror. I didn't know it was messed up. Is it internal? I know that it worked. Was it the movement that you were talking about? It felt pretty solid.

Yeah, the center console was pretty dirty (just like the whole car). I actually did a quick cleaning on everything inside the car. It was a junk hole. If you need anything else, let me know.

Good luck pulling the dash (it's a pain in the ***), but the cruise control switch did light up for me and the cruise control light in the cluster lite up also.

The sunroof is rusted kind of bad, but it does work. I would have to figure out how to take it all apart first.

You want everything for the ac (compressor, hoses, condenser, radiator, etc)? This is off the 1.8L DOHC motor, so I don't know if it would work on any other. Also, I don't know how to disassemble the whole thing (but could probably figure it out). I know there's ALOT of crap that goes along with it. I don't have a price yet, but I figure it would be ?kind of expensive? due to the amount of stuff, size, and work involved with disassembling it. Let me know if you are real serious about it.

Yeah, It dosent matter because i am going to swap the BpTurbo problably in 2-3 months so just let me know the price for the ac stuff (all of it). Also are you still going to need the manual transmission stuff like the linkages, shifter and all the stuff because i am thinking of converting from auto to manual.

I looked at the a/c system today and I don't think that I'll be able to take it apart. I don't have the tool to undo the connectors that hold the a/c lines together. If I try to do it without the tool, it'll mess it up.

As far as the linkages and shifter, I should be able to part with that. I'll have to look to see what all I'll have to do to take it apart and I'll get back with you. You'll also need the stuff for the hydraulic clutch and I've already put some of that on my Escort.

No, it's the sedan (tail lights are in great condition though).

I'm giving Jay first dib's on the linkage stuff.

I really don't know if they are different. Take a look here (there's a pic of the back of the car): http://photos.yahoo.com/ysrpilot

Let me know if they are the same. Thanks.
