Hello guys.

Am from the Northern Rivers area.

Hey Rick do you have any more of those stickers left? I wouldn't mind one.

There isn't many mazda astinas or protege done up around my area. It's a bit sad. I get a few looks when I drive around thou. My most asked question is what sort of car is it? Never mine I have a mazdaspeed sticker on the back window. If any one is out there and going to be around the Northern Rivers area or Gold Coast let me know and we could meet up.

Talking

Hi to you all
well just got my new proteqe 03/03 sp20 titanium gray two months ago and have not done much to it 15% window tint all round drop it 2'in with new springs. Fitted some cool new rear tail lights from emtech they just got them in they look like the ones that get around on the monaros not that cheap plastic looking **** from carmate they are too expensive and look really cheap(we are not dealing with a lancer here you now) if you are interested email geoff he will send you a picture(i can not work out how to get a picture from my email to here pc illiterate)www.emtechautomotive.com.au.
Thinking of buying some new wheels with my tax return 17 or 18in if you got any info on how 18 in wheels will go or not some body said because of the low profile tyre that will need to be fitted you can damage a rim? (pot holes)
Can anybody tell me have they done or know of any chipping of the computer or new computers to get a bit more out of it.dunno:

I'm looking to get the Protege SP20 but I would like to know a rough estimate on how much I should be paying. I'm located in Melbourne (Am I the first here?) and can someone tell me how much I should be paying?

Screw them to the end

Hey E-Gene this is the fun part screwing the dealers for the lowest price. I had four dealers all competing against each other.
I got it for $27,600- with a set of sp20 sports floor mats and a full tank of fuel. When you buy it do not get anything else from them just the car get your window tinting, rustproofing,or what ever else its cheaper and if you go to the right place it will be a better job. As dealers screw them for a cheap price so you get a cheap job for top dollar (freind works at a holden dealer).
Ok here is the plan you will have to go in to the dealers as they do not like competing on the phone as you will learn they all go to the same selling school the line you will hear 100 times is "WHAT CAN I DO TO GET YOUR BUSSNESS TODAY"
play along with them "YOU GIVE ME YOUR BEST PRICE AND YOU HANE MY BUSSNESS TODAY" stay strong you are dealing with the toughest sales man in the selling game before you go in say to your self NO WAY am i signing now not till you go to at lest four dealers and then you get the lowest price. Go back to first dealer and say can you beat this price from ### dealer you will now have to put on a good act to still walk out with out signing like you just got cold feet and will think about it over nigth and go to the next and so on at the end pick the guy you liked the best and see if he will beat the lowest price or macth it.My lowest price with first dealer was $28,500 and he did not go any lower so he missed out i got a SP20 protege manel titanium gray brand new with sp20 sports mats full tank 6km on the clock$27.600 on road no more to pay. let the fun begin!!
hope it helps good luck

Hey Ricky,

the website you're talking about was with the fastfours forums...however they've taken it off now ...the car is very stock at the moment..but guess what?..i've sold it to my brother-in-law...so he'll be doing it up in the near future and i look forward to meeting up withh everybody one day..i'll be in the passenger seat of course..

here is a pic though
atm..the car only has a cat back with a stainless cannon and chrome tints..and the crear winkers...

but my bro-in-law plans on putting extractors, lowering and mags very soon

Hi guys just thought I'd let you all know that Hurricane make headers for the SP20 and liverpool exhaust supply Hurricane and should be able to hook you up.
I haven't contacted them my self and I don't now what they charge for them, I seen the article in Hot4's and thought I'd let you all know.
