Did anybody watch Jerry Seinfeld's standup act when he talks about the Florida drivers???

"There's a lot of old people down there. You sometimes see cars driving by, and you can't even see the person driving. Their moto is 'Sit low, drive slow'. The Florida state flag should be a steering wheel with two knuckles and a hat on it. I can't even see the person driving. The left turn signal is naturally on from when they left the house that morning. It is a perfectly legal turn and is known as an 'eventual left'."

I agree. It takes me 30 minutes to get 10 miles (to downtown St Paul) in the morning. (backroads, freeway either way)
Quite annoying as Other cities have much better mass transit and highways. Also bad for all my clients (30+) who don't own a car.

When we had a snow storm (2") two weeks ago, it took me 1 hour to get to work. Us Minnesotans are becoming wusses when it comes to winter weather.

What's traffic? It takes me about 20min to make the 23 mile trip to work.... Of course I go to work at 10pm....and live in the middle of nowhere....It's a busy night if I see 10 other cars before I get to I-75.

the 2 biggest problems in Flordia are:

1. Contruction everywhere that never ends. It took 7 years to widen a stretch of highway about 4 miles long, 7 f**king years
2. We get all the retired old people from every other state. Old people suck on the road.

I was going to Clearwater Beach on Sunday and it took me 1 hour to drive mabee 2 miles.Construction+drawbridge+roadabout+beach=Hell

3. Everyone (south of the Mason Dixon line) in a truck thinks it's a NASCAR event!

4. The red triangle means yield douch bag.

5. Pass on the left, cruise in the right.

6. Holy s tourists buy a map!

I spent the past 5 winters in Orlando. The traffic in and around Philadelphia is pretty bad as well. We're all in a great big hurry to get to work. Go figure.

No ****. One time some dumbass from Texas DOT decided it would be a good idea to cut I-45 (the major highway from Houston to Dallas) to only one lane just outside of Dallas. It added 2 hours of start and stop driving to our trip. I haven't driven back down it for a long time but the project was supposed to be going on for a couple of more months.

Yeah, sometimes I really don't know what those ministers of transport are thinking.......

Here near my area, they added about 20 more traffic lights instead of leaving the stop signs that were there. It takes so much longer since one car activates the light and then a big row of cars all has to stop.

Plus they only seem to work on the roads from 2pm-6pm. Can't they pay these people a bit extra to work an extra shift from 6pm-10pm...

Until you have driven in Boston you you have no idea how hard it can be. The city has been under road construction since 1991 and is not to be complete for another 2 years. See what I mean
www.bigdig.com. Take a look at 14 billion and counting these are your hard earned tax dollars at work.

ah the Capital beltway, deadlocked everyday from 6am - 10am, and 4pm - 8pm.
in other words, it is a parking lot most of the day
nobody gets anywhere, no body goes anywhere

and that is also for the main roads too

as ZoomZoomH said

they better do something about those f--ing roads....SOON
