Arrow Ridiculous

That was a ridiculous survey, in my opinion, and I'm shocked anyone missed a single answer (I hadn't).

Americans continually score lower than other countries (sometimes even developing nations) in many key disciplines. It’s most reprehensible that the richest country in the world delivers the weakest primary education system amongst developed nations—Perfectly reflected by the data presented in National Geographic’s findings. Our (U.S.) society clearly values other things, and I find that backward characteristic completely revolting.

Canada, for all their respective problems, is a much more progressive country that forwards superior public services than the United States. This extends into education as well.

Francoise Ducros should not have resigned.

20/20

I think it's crazy that the questions they were asking were so "generic". National Geographic prides itself on showing off exotic locations and we get a survey asking us to locate Russia on the map It's the largest country in the world. If that doesn't give it away nothing will.

I also agree with the comment about giving a list of numbers to locate a country and none of them are even close to each other. Translation is that as long as you know the general location you'll ace this test.

Where are the good questions?

Great, you have inflamed my national pride......now I am curious as to why the USA is better than Canada. I can only think of a few items that I find preferable in the States over Canada. And it ain't your beer.

Woohoo! Canadian Beer ROCKS!

I think "Bowling for Columbine" draws some interesting comparisons between our 2 countries. For those who haven't seen it I would recommend it.

Well not to start a Canadain-American war but let's start with Money. US$ vs. Can$.

Oh **** I hate Canadian Beer.

sorry, Canada is a good country. I know some people from up there and I would never wish them harm.

But I do hate the beer.

Isn't it curious that religious tabulations that find Christianity as the largest religion are compiled by Christian groups? I'm sure if it was done by Muslims or Hindus, they would be the largest. And some religions, like Buddhism, aren't exclusive (meaning you can be both Buddhist and Christian, or Taoist, or...).

Thumbs up Another Great Thing About Canada

I've noted that Canada is superior to the United States in multiple areas, as said in my previous post. That said, here's another reason they're better. Notice where Canada is in relation to the United States.

Given responsibility, safety, and respect, this is something I personally think is cool!

mayby they only send the crapy beer down here. Because to strong is not a word i would use. water now that's a word I'd use.

Now back to geography, I don't think this is something that is easy to teach. If some one doesn't care were the hell timbuctoo is they'll never no. (it's in africa). When i was younger and i herd of a place on the new or some thing I'd get my dads atlas and I'd look it up. The hard thing is the atlas was printed in 1962
