Who do you pick in the AL and NL?

Yeah just have always loved the Twins. Been a fan since the Kirby Puckett days. He was my idol as I grew up. Have stuck with them ever since and now they are finally starting to come back from the depths of contraction

Pooh on Selig. Glad Jesse dedicated his "take me out to the ballgame" to him last night. Unfortunately, small markets have a tougher time than large cities (NY, LA, etc.). I've always like the Twins, even more now because of how they make Selig look silly - however, still got to root for Anaheim in memory of The Cowboy (Gene Autry).

Angels in the World Series!! Twinkies go home and cry in your Hankies.
Sorry to rub it in. Feel like a great weight has been removed from shoulders of watching this team lose since 1979. Went to Saturday's game. Absolute pandemonium. Very loud and uncharacteristic of mainly white and conservative Orange County. Pretty silly. Great game yesterday! Felt (a little) sorry for the Twin pitchers who could no longer stop the RED STORM!!!

Thanks Jason. Sorry about the Twins. I spit on Bud Selig. Worst yet, seeing Michael Eisner in the Angels locker room following the game was inconceivable. Disney's trying to unload the Halo's and he's taking part in the celebration - very hypocritical and disingenious. Never really could get into the rally monkey thing, but it sure stirred thinks at the game. Silly seeing adults and their kids dress like apes at the Big Ed.
I don't think the Angels and Gene Autry will be denied.

Yeah I know what you mean about the owners. Oh I can't wait to get rid of you but ohhhh your winning well I love you now and the fans are the best.
I think the rally monkey is a good gimick for them. It gives character to a ballpark and a team. You know the Yankees have Monument Park and Boston has the green monster. Anaheim has the rally monkey. It could be worse. You could be waving a snot rag and call it a homer hankey. Oh well

Thanks for the chuckle. I await reactions from the national audience who first sees the Rally Monkey during the World Series. Disney never saw it coming. Next thing you'll know they'll have some silly ride named after this ape......
Truth be told. Had the Halos lost yesterday I couldn't guarantee another win in the HHH dome. (That's Hubert H. Humphrey not hammerin' homer hankey dome)....
