Oh, I'm not a drummer--guitar.
But I've always been a frustrated drummer at heart; I used to be really hard on the drummers in my bands!

i bought a guitar a couple years ago intending to learn how to play it . still sits in the corner of my room in its case untouched... years ago my boss wanted to learn how to fly a helicopter so he went out and bought one. his thinking was if he spends all that money on a helicopter he sure as hell is gonna take the time to learn to fly it... and he did. to bad that didn't work for me.

I have nothing but respect for a good drummer.
But I did pretty much all of my own material, and since I wasn't a drummer it was sometimes hard to communicate exactly what I was hearing in my head.
Sometimes I would sit behind the kit and try to do it myself. I could do, like, simple 4/4 time,on, you know, kick, hh, snare, but it was pretty hilarious when I tried to thump on those other cans!
