Cool mod

While I was paying my tuition today I saw a 2nd Gen Pro driving buy. I stood next to the road to see if he saw me staring and I could wave him down, but before passing me he pulled into the technical college across the street. I decided to get in my car after paying tuition and look for it. When I pulled up behind it I saw something that made my jaw drop. Instead of making custom clear tailights... he had custom red tailights. The whole thing (middle piece and all) were red. The turn signal and the reverse part.

How in God's name did he do it? I was amazed. I left a paper pinched in the wiper for him to visit my webpage. Hopefully he will. If he does I'm gonna interrogate him. I'm gonna start pushing for that digital camera again.

Hey, Polllito. I just looked on your site, and I was shocked by Juan's ride. 1.5L with WRX Turbo and Intercoller! How in the world did he pull that one off?

You go to the Hobby store and buy a can of transluscent red spray paint. Sometimes it's called glass paint. Mask off what you don't want covered and spray the whole thing with a couple coats.

A lot of CRX guys do it to they're rear corner lamps.

Of course there may be some premade all red ones someplace or available as an overpriced JDM piece.

Well that picture is what it was goping to look like. He's in the process of having it installed. I need to contact him again but as I said , that's what it's gonna look like. He moved the battery to the trunk to give it some more space.

True. True. But I thought that since the owner studies there I can go by again if nothing happens.

If you notice the message I posted above, you would understand that the pic show the setup not connected. As I explained that is a picture showing what the setup will be looking like. The exhaust manifold? Well they can be custom made! There is a guy here in PR that sets up turbos for any car, he specializes in Mazdas. And not to my surprise that 1.5 is with that experienced guy. The turbo and intercooler are from a Subaru WRX. Read dude it says it clear as day.
