Just to add to the old driver part. My grandfather has been going downhill. He has backed into my mothers van, my brothers car, and has turned into one way streets countless times. Just this week he backed into someone and now his car is in the shop. He is 80 or 81 I think it's time to stop or limit his driving time. He will not stop driving because he works for the Baltimore Orioles as an usher and he hasn't missed a game in over 18 years so he has a streak going just like Ripken did. They call him the "Other Iron Man". He needs to find an alternative way of getting down to the stadium. i won't even drive with him any more because he scares me. I have not been able to talk to him about this but it's a huge concern. Driving is a privelage not a right. Testing should be done every 2 years once you reach a certain age. 5 years ago he was fine but now he needs to stop. I mean I understand that it's like taking away his freedom but how would he feel if he were to take someones life. I think life is worth more than someones privelage.

Rio, big props to you for that post. I also understand what you mean. My g-parents are thre same way. They are potential health risks on the road. What we did? Took their car keys. Just took them. They thought they were going crazy and lost them and they started asking us for rides.

My grandma is still a decent driver, she drives carfully and doesnt drive at night anymore...used to be a bus driver...but she doesnt try to do anything illegal either, like cutting across 3 lanes of traffic trying to do a u turn like this idiot was doing...i still cant believe he had the ***** to say it was my fault
