This is a rant...I HATE,HATE,HATE old people driving...They should lose their license after 65 no exceptions... Im going down the road and this old fart in a big *** E150 Van pulls out of racetrac and across 3 lanes of traffic to pull in front of me cruising in the Pro on my lunch break.he didnt even see me until i hit him!!..I slam the brakes and swerve, but it isnt enough..His front wheel smacks into my passenger side front quarter, f***ing up my fender bumper,corner light, and pushes the fender up into the hood scratching the paint off it too....the only thing that happened to his damn van is the hubcap got messed up....the cop put on the report est $100 in damage to his and $1200 to mine....dammit!!!!..He was cited with the accident of course..but his insurance company is some no-name local company..they better pay! I looked around for a fender and found one for $75..Im hoping I might get lucky and they cut me the check alone..if so i might just get a body kit out of this deal....

I had my Pro for three weeks and got rear-ended by an old lady who didn;'t notice the f**king light was RED!

Yeah and on top of everything else, I hit the brakes so hard and forgot to hit the clutch so it kills the engine, but i forgot to turn off the A/C and the lights, so when everything is said and done the cop had to give me a jumpstart!!!

Nah'...the cop was really cool...he told me right away that it was the old guys fault, and he didnt have to give me a jump....If he gave me the ticket I would've been pretty pissed...I probably wouldve thought it was discrimination if he did....Old guy, big van, older cop...YOung guy, small Japanese Car, loud, big muffler...yeah..

How's about we make EVERYONE pass tough standards every three years. Driving has sadly become a 'right', when it's actually a privelege. It will **** off lots of folks to find out they don't cut it. Too freaking bad. I've pulled too many mangled bodies out of too many cars to give a snot about what fools think.What's really scary is Florida proposing, (or they may have done it by now) that people with 20/70 vision be allowed to keep their licenses, and that they will be making highway signs BIGGER and lane stripes WIDER so people with crappy vision can still 'drive'. Some folks can't drive worth a damn when they're 20, yet Racer/Actor Paul Newman recently came in SECOND in a tough race. His car number is 78, SAME AS HIS AGE. Let's go for competence. Age be damned.

hmm........that really sucks...nothing happened to the van?.....should have brought a hammer or a bat you could have changed that.....CARBON FIBER FENDERS....lol...prolly more expensive though..but its a thought....o yeah i liked the bacon thing that was funny....

Messed up his hubcap..that's about it... ....I'm making the claim against his insurance today...God I hope they just cut a 1 party check to me...If so I found a fender for $75, then I'll just get a full body kit with the rest.and a new set of corners is like $20 on ebay.....I'm going to the dealer for the estimate...hehe, they'll rape that insurance company...OEM parts cost $$$$

Update....good news...found a body shop, they said they will charge the insurance company for the Mazda parts, but put on whatever stuff I want...I just have to pay the difference if my parts cost more than the Mazda ones...that's cool too cause I'm gonna get the Erebuni bumper which costs $299, and the Mazda one costs $250...however the corner I want is $20 and the Mazda one is $90....works out good as long as the Insurance company gives me no probs covering the damage

I'll try and get some...can't guarantee any time frame..car will probably be in the shop 2 weeks minimum since the bumper will take about 8-10 days to even get here, after they order it...also it was a business van and apparently there is question to the liability since the driver was not the owner of the vehicle....if for some reason the insurance denies the claim, would i sue the company, the driver or both???

well, looks like insurance should pay..so heres what i'm looking at..they are going to cut me the check personally, SO, I found my fender for $75, the corners are going to be $25, I am going for the sport20 bumper from corksport $340 plus $70 to ship and finally that new 99-00 evo hood $440 plus $70 to ship, then im getting rid of the MX-6 spoiler and getting an MP3 spoiler $225 shipped..then about $300 for paint...that will eclipse that check completely, but my ride should look pretty sweet...no one's done this yet, so try and picture it, and tell me what you think.........
