.......thats where you get the most power from, in my opinion.(V8 swaps etc.) Plus they're WAYYYY cheaper to mod, and don't have as strict of smog limitations. Granted, you can only get single turbo stock from 84-89, but sometimes 1 huge friggin' turbo(upgraded of course) is better than 2
, and fortunately thats how it is with the Z's.

The 350z costs more than the RX8, but it also has higher peformance levels.
Handling may be comparable, but the Z car has more horses, and is a good deal quicker - I believe it is under 6 seconds 0-60, while the RX8 takes nearly 7.
Sometimes, you get what you pay for.....
IMO, the RX8 is the better looking car, though they are both very interesting designs. I like them both, and wouldn't mind owning either one. I also think the interior of the RX8 is a better design also - foxymazda, what about those plain-*** door panels on that Z? It's like one flat piece of black - like they ran out of ideas. Ugghhh. The rotary cues (the triangle-looking emblems) in the interior of the RX8 is a classy touch that looks excellent.
And the issue of a four-door sports car doesn't bother me a bit. They are suicide doors, and are tiny - I don't even know if they could be classified as a door. Funny - I wonder what the registration will be for them - 2 door or 4 door? How are the Saturn 3-door coupes (with the same door design) classified? Anyone know?
I think the rear mini-door concept is awesome. Lets you nearly keep the look of a coupe, with the nearly the function of a sedan. A great comprimise, IMO. In fact, the Saturn 3-door was a car I looked to buy before the P5 - but the P5 is a muscle car compared to the 100 HP engines Saturn offers...
I can't wait to see an RX8 up close.
