So, I'm trying to sell my ATV in cycletrader (and atvtraderonline.com)
I get this email about my atv:
Subject: Modified Honda Recon
Message: Hello seller,It's has been my honourably pleasure to write you.I am highly intrested in your advertised (Modified Honda Recon )so i will like you to get back to me with some recent pics of it and the final price including the present condition so that payment can be remitted to you as soon aspossible .Thanks my timely response will be Appreciate as soon as possible.Mark
I'm like. ok... umm. $2,000, good conditions, pics online are recent....
i get this back:

Message: Hello,
Thanks for the mailing and i am happy that the Modified Honda Recon is still for sale.i will like you to be aware that i live in florida,but as at now i am out of state for a business trip,that is the reason i said you should send me the pics so that i can view what i am purshasing from you and i will instruct my client who is in us to issue you a us Cashier's Check or a postal money order of $5,000 and as soon as you receive the payment you are going to deduct the cost of your Modified Honda Recon which is $2000 and the remaining we be forward to my shipper via western union money transfer because they are the one who will responsible for the shipment of the Modified Honda Recon in your location to my destination and my other goods which it needs to be ship.
Moreover i will be happy if you can sell the Modified Honda Recon for me and i will be adding you a sum of $100 to the cost of your Modified Honda Recon making $2000 and i will like you to provide me your follwing details like NAME AND ADDRESS which we be written on the payment,including your HOME PHONE,WORK PHONE AND CELL PHONE NUMBER for urgent call.i will like you to get back to me with all this following deatils,so that the payment can be mail asap,looking forward to hearing from you asap

some guy wrote us a bogus "company check" that looked like it was printed on a template bought at walmart in the inkjet printer aisle. then he writes "if the check bounces please feel free to return it to me western union! thanks!"
another person had given us a stolen credit card number, and when we asked them about it, he/she faxed us a copy of the card and their photo id...the piece of trash looked like they pulled it out of a trashcan and photocopied it 20 times with all the wrong contrast settings. why do people even bother. if you cant do it right, find another line of work.

d4mn1t! i got a "phishing" email today... (attached) - link wanted me to "login" to my paypal account, i.e. - give out my name/password to someone HA, h3ll n0! figured i'd give everyone the heads up. It came from service@paypal.com
