Rain X works very well...but stay away from Fog X...it works for approximately a week...after that the water condenses and you end up smearing the windshield from the inside. Thus your reduction in visability.

Rain-X works great. I use it on all my windows. Only thing to watch out for is that it will gunk up your wipers. After all, it's only a wax applied to your window. Just be sure to clean your wiper blades frequently/replace them when they start to streak. Either that or just apply some more Rain-X!

Rain-X for your windows should be the law.....its awsome...the first time I ever saw it, a friend of mine introduced me to it....this was YEARS ago...and we got in his truck and we were going down the road and I said "hey man!! some dick stole your windshield wiper arms!!" ....he just laughed.....HE took them off since the **** worked so good....

well personally I think that is taking it a bit far.....but....it makes the difference of night and day.....at or above about 35 you REALLY can turn off your windshield wipers and not really tell any difference.

It's not bad, but does not have the same effect as rain-x. Essentially the dust clings to the fog-x compound which attracts the water molecules, you then wipe your hand (forgetting that their is fog-x on the windshield) and bam...big smear mark...and wiping more does not help

Stay with the defrost button, it works way better.

Foxy...do you do some "Matrix scenes" when you wash the window

BL_Protege get the rain x stuff, most of us highly recommend the product.

rain-x owns u!!

That was one of the first things i did when i brought my P5 home cuz it works so well on the 'scort.

I've only ever applied it once, and it's coming up on 6 months and there's still hints of it on the windshield, even with using the wipers.

The side windows are still almost as good as day one of the rain-x though.. especially after I just wash them off. I find when they get dusty the rain-x isn't as effective (duh)

When you do apply it though, make sure you follow the instructions exactly.. Make sure you you super clean your windshield with some industrial strength cleaner before you apply. You want to have as much of the 'pores' open as possible for the rain-x to really get in there and bond with the glass.
