So I just found out this way to get through to block websites on my proxy server at work. If you are looking for say www.ebay.com and are block try typing www.ebay.com.

Didn't see a difference? Its the dot after the com that does it. Hope this is helpful.

 

Or you can set up your own proxy server behind the walls. That is surfcontrols flaw.
