Exactly what he said....if you have money for upkeep, go for the RX-7, but I hear those turbos need rebuilt around 100,000 miles, so that alone would be expensive, plus any thing else that would go wrong with it....ITR is nice too, but insurance is really expensive too cause it is a limited production car....which leaves the Si......don't *** with the accord if you want a fast car...but if you want a nice pimp ride, go with the accord....Just my $.02

i would never buy an SER spec V, Nissan really screwed up that car, it looks horrible, the engine is unreliable, to this day no one even has a really good Dyno number for that car. Personally id get the ITR or wait a year and get an EvoVII, now thats a hot **** car

I don't think he ever said it was his "dream" car either, he just wanted to get a faster car that would be reliable for the money. Obviously if he had a huge budget he wouldn't be getting a civic or integra....therefore, the acura NSX/Lotus Espirit are outta the question

Regardless, it still isn't a civic/integra budget like he is asking us about....therefore, if he had $38k to spend in 1-3 years, he prolly wouldn't be asking us about which "car" he should get for under $18k...RIGHT NOW.

Do you really have to list the H****'s

I wouldn't have one of those H****'s over a Mazda. That Rx-7 is the machine. Go to www.streetdynamics.com and watch the video of the 9 sec RX-7 this car is BAD ***!!!! World Record Holder Rx-7

Unfortunately, not everyone can afford the maintenance on a Mazda RX-7 with 130,000 miles...those fawkers are expensive, and big deal if one run's 9's...I am sure he isn't gonna dump $100k into it to turn it into a 9 second car, he wants an AFFORDABLE street car that is kinda fast and reliable for the money....therefore Type R would be the way to go....IMO

Actually I don't think that they spent an unreasonable amount of money on that car........

But damn I want that Elise tooo.....

As for those cars.... don't know, go for the ITR I guess, but why not an Eclipse? Eclipse Spyder
