im in the coastguard, and we have like 20 nextels. and they are by far the best. we use our 2 way all the time. as primary comms between our boats. if only nextel made a waterproof one. lol we have lost atleast 10 of them due to the ocean.

Can u explain why u think this? Lets not forget how much the bell labs have given us. If u want to visit a fine site just go here http://www.bell-labs.com/

or here just look at the facts http://www.bell-labs.com/about/facts.html

I like ATT because I never have any reception issues, although I get weird roaming things every so often, but they're easily taken care of. The only thing that pissed me off with ATT so far is that they made me start paying for text messages without my knowledge... Oh welll

As for Verizon, the service/reception seems to be pretty good. I do think, however that my phone sounds like ****... But I'm pretty sure it's the phone, not the service... It's a Motorolla t720, and it's much nicer than my Nokia 3360, but it sounds like crap in comparison.
my 720 is kinda hard to hear when driving down the road in the pro. and the ringer could be louder. plus mine is also having some problems locking up. tho it could be b/c it took a nasty story and a half fall from my apt deck. haha

If u are looking for a real world phone get service from a GSM provider the largest one in the world is T-mobile a german company. But if u not planning on travel out of the usa, then what u are using is cool

T-mobile has one of the crapiest coverage areas around. Tho they do have job opening in des moines... With the tower crew so it shouldnt be to much work. haha i might just go work for them.
