the actor in the commercails is Peter Stormare, you can see him in pretty much any bruckheimer/simpson film hehe (bad boys, armageddon, etc).

I was just about to say that. He is also Abruzzi in the Fox TV show Prison Break. I love that show man. It starts its new season tonight (Monday) at 8:00.

Yeah dude, learn more about the car before you slam it. Dead stock cars are dynoing 220 whp, with a chip and a downpipe they're seeing 290 whp. On top of that the suspension and chassis are badass. Stock vs stock I think this is gonna be damn near the MS3 in handling if not better, and the engine and IC is infinately better designed that the MS3.

can you show me stock dyno's that are putting down 220whp? I find it VERY hard to believe they'd underrate their car THAT much when they know US buyers only shop horsepower.

I know the older 1.8's are tuneable but the 2 people I know with GTi's personally (justin and jeremy) neither of them have close to that power and Jeremy is running a full exhaust, APR chip and upped boost.

where do you get your handling claims from? How much do they weigh? The last GTi's didn't handle very well...not stock anyway. Body roll pwns.

I'm standing behind my earlier claim. Looks great on the outside. The inside is gross and it's overpriced for what you're getting IMO. I'm a VW fan now but the new GTi just seems like too little, too late.
