I like it simply cause it will be mostly hot chicks driving it. I personaly wont be caught driving one but if a hot girl is driving I am in. I will just sign up for my Evo IX

I think im going to throw up...that car is horrible, i agree with others the 1st and 2nd gens were the best, the eclipses are getting worse and worse..AHH!!!.....why dont they just make a rebuilt versions of the 1st and 2nds? THAT ACTAULLY RESEMBLE THEM THAT IS!...

2nd gen was the best of course but i don't see too much of a problem with the 3rd gen. Sure the lines and **** are pretty rediculous, but i think the car has a slick overall look. As for this new machine, I like its' looks on the outside and the colors on the inside look cool. as for performance, eclipse drivers should already realise there cars are quick but not nimble. the 3rd gen weighed in at about 3300lbs. thats a heavy coupe. But you also have to realise the Exlipse is also in a different catergory than it used to be. it's no longer a sport compact. it's now a smooth riding semi-luxuary coupe, with some good power to get you around.

I like the newer eclipses because they are quite comfortable and stylish IMO.

If I'd buy another DSM (Talon/Laser/Eclipse)...I'd go 1st gen...the damn 2nd gens were notorious for crank walking....and I think that's the BIG reason my Mitsu shyed away from bring back the I-4 in the 4G63t Eclipse. ****...ppl would bitch because it was a SERIOUS problem and Mitsu would not step up and fix it.

FAWK YOU MITSU! Yes...I have personal beef w/them. k, thx.
