Exclamation Need a Grand AM forum before wife takes my P5!

My wife's Grand AM blows power windows. If I can't fix this ****, she's going to be driving my P5! Please hook me up with a good GA forum. Thanks.

neither. i'd love to give up my protege and get my grand am back or even a new grand am for that matter. I'm not saying i don't like my protege. i just miss my grand am

Worse is .....giving up the P5 and HAVING a G.A.

Thanks for the link Matt. I'll give it a look. Those power window mechanisms on the '94 G.A. are a bitch.

The power windows among other things is the reason I gave up my 92 grand am. Are you replacing the motors or the switches for the power windows? My windows kept freezing and then my switch went bad so I took the door panel off and oiled the joints that move the window up and down. Replacing the switch was a simple snap-off/snap-on job. Worked fine after that unless it was rainy or cold outside.

yeah the grand ams are notorious for the shitty power windows. only had a problem once on my 96

Had a shop replace the regulators on both doors. The driver side went bad again about a year later. The motor gets 12 volts but no movement. I plan to take the panel off this weekend and take another look. It is impossible to really see what's going on in there.

Oh yeah, thanks for the advice. Checked the bluebook on a '94 GA? Ain't buyin' no Mazda with that kind of money.
It still goes, and the window motor was 47 bucks. Was a pain in the *** though. Problem solved.
