Angry My wife took my car to get a $19 CARWASH

This friday my wife had the car an desided to take my car in for a surprise and got a shitty $19 dollar car wash. Car has all kinds of dirty spots specially the rims. Biy was I pissed. She said but they even cleaned the dash~!!! SOOO!!!

Worst part they put a ding in one of my doors. They gave her a card to a guy that does work for them to fix the ding.

By the way we really have shitty thin paint one small scrath goes al the way to the metal. WTF

I've got my wife trained now, she knows how to properly wash the car at the wand wash (ie: no foam brush) and knows NEVER to let anyone other than us touch our car!

Now if I could just get her to drive around the bumps and holes in the road rather than over them...

It's only a car, guys. Even if I had a Ferrari I woundn't get all hyper at my girfriend for doing anything bad to it accidently. A car is something money can buy, but a good relationship with a peer is priceless.

my car is my car which is my pride and joy, my PEER. Your wife or girlfriend will leave you, talk back to you, yell at you, make you do stuff, you car will always be there for you, never asking for anything.

You sound like my ex-boyfriend... tried to something nice for him just like that one time and he screamed b/c they didnt do it right- and I paid for it!! Now w/ my Fiance's car I wash it by hand and clearly do a wondeful job inside and out... most of the time I do a better job on his car than mine

You know what's sad. Guys who own ferraris don't get that upset because guys who own ferraris can always buy another ferrari. It's only the poor bastards who don't even own their cars that let themselves get so upset. (You know why banks have drive-thru windows? So, they can see their cars once in a while.)

That being said, I have 3 dents on the crease line on my passenger side, and a key on my driver side. Each one pissed me off more than the last. And I park out in the boon docks when I go anywhere! But this guys right... Get pissed off, sure. But get your priorities straight. One time my step-mom grazed my baby... my '90 SHO, with her Camry. Drug the mirror right along the side. This AFTER I'd had it painted. Left a nasty dent- little wax got the paint out tho. Should have seen the look on her face- she was so upset, so sorry. As mad as I could have been... I gave her a hug and told her it was allright. Then took my baby out and gave her the ole' italian tune up. We all felt better.

Yeah man, like everyone said, don't worry about it too much. I mean she tried to do the right thing so don't be an a$$hole and get pissed off at her but rather at the shop that put a ding on your ride.
It could've been much worse (hopefully neither one of you ever get in accidents *knocks on my wood table*)
