i've actually been talking with the wife about forgetting the MS6 and just buying a used BoxsterS and modifying it. The boxter is a little smaller than anything I'd normally buy but getting one a few years old will allow you to get an S model for less than the price of the MS6....money for mods is a good thing on a porsche.
