I have been into hotrodding and general car building for quite a while....and if that guy wants to be the same as all the other...a sheep as someone refered to him...fine....he is intitled to his opinion.....but one of the mags I read (hotrod) has a section now and then that grabbs a lot of attention...its called "dare to be different" and its about those people that stepped across the line and did NOT conform....and I will tell you....those are some of the most outstanding rides you will ever see.....and our Protege's fit into that catagory...so they aren't the most popular out there....ya know? I DON'T CARE!....they are great looking....great handling...and they really don't need much, if anything, to make them a true eyecatcher out there on the road....the Civic drivers can NOT make that claim...they are a dime a dozen. So just let them blow their smoke.....believe me.....in a real show, at a real car meet.....the Proteges will grab some attention....they are sweet and don't look like every other car you see on the road.

Well put Sir Nuke, I think we all just need to let this thread go, those little snobby 16 year olds with their Si's mommy bought them would be so happy if they seen all the whining complaints we are posting about them....we are better and more mature than that. My last car I was a civic and trust me, that is the last car I would want to be driving....they are a friggin dime a dozen out here in Cincy, with bodykits and altezza's....so they are nothing special, now the MP5 is another story, I am lucky to see one a week on the road, and I have yet to see one "tuned"...and it is still a head turner bone stock....so let's just let it be, and be better than them stupid punk ricer byatches....thanks...

he's callin people homo's because of their cars....wait a second...he is the conformist,he is the one doin what he's told, and he doesnt dare to be different because he's affraid his little ricer boys laugh at him if he buys something else than a honda...thats '''homo''''...people who own supras,rx7's,lexus IS300's and other real performance related or ready to race cars could call him a 'homo'..of course,if we react this way,it's just because of that little stupid boy's way of thinking, and the arguments we are putting here are not confirming his thoughts,we are just proving that he's an ***!

Sincerely
Jason M.

Long live daring people and their Protege's!!

I don't know if you remember who I am or not, but i use to drive a white Dodge Daytona (sorry to admit ). I hung out with you a few times over at Shawn's house (also sorry to admit ).

Ehhhh, sorry to admit you were over at Shawn's house, or sorry to admit you were hangin out with me? The white Daytona doesn't really ring any bells on who you are. I really don't remember too much from those days, as I spent most of them drunk over. Are we talking about Shawn that used to drive thw white civic? If so that house was pretty damn fun from what I remember.

I was saying I was sorry to admit that I hung out with Shawn (yes he use to drive a white civic hatchback), not you. If you don't remember who I am you might know my sister Shelby she was pretty good friends with Jimmy and use to date a guy named Cory.

Well yeah I know Shelby, I'm afraid I never knew she had a sister, or that she was friends with Jimmy, he's one of my best friends, and I knew Shelby knew him, but not as some great firend.

Oh wait, I think I finally remember. I think we were over there one night, and me and some other guys were all fucked up on shrooms, and we were watchin the Wizard of Oz muted, while playin Pink Floyd's The Darkside Of The Moon, on the CD player. And I think I remember you guys walkin going like "what the ****?" cause we were all zoned out, and you guys were sober when you came over and couldn't quite figure why we were sittin around on a saturday night watchin the damn Wizard Of Oz. Then again it coulda been someone else that walked in, but I do know someone came there and they weren't in the same realm that we were, and they kinda just bounced up outta there. Oh well, damn this thread got off topic.

HA HA...I totally remember that night. I thought you guys were all completely out of your minds . That kinda goes back to what you were saying about there always being crazy times over there, you never knew what you were going to see.

You're totally right about this post getting off topic, WAY off topic!!
