You know what bothers me? People who think they're car nuts, yet hate on every kind of car that isn't theirs. I'll be the first to admit, I don't know as much about cars as some people, but I'm learning.

I consider myself the 'model' car buff... I love all kinds of cars... Imports, domestic, muscle cars, mini trucks, etc. I don't bash any particular brand of cars... If I see a nice Hyundai, sweet! If I see a nice saturn of cavalier, I'll like it...

These are the types of people that give this scene a bad name.

Hahahaha! Well, I'll admit... I DO hate most 'fixed up' cavaliers, but there is one from my area that is REALLY REALLY REALLY nice. I think took 1st place @ NOPI nationals when they were in Philly. It's black and orange... I'll try and find some pics.

I agree the only decent Civic is the SI, the others are overpriced with a horrible interior. The Protege 5 is now starting to make a good splash in the import scene, which has been quoted many times if i may add. People will soon see that the line up of Protege 5, Mp3 and other future models are something to not be messed with and doubted .
Lets see how much the laugh when the turbo comes out !
Ricers beware

I beat a Civic Si at the second to last autocross of the 2001 season here in Sacramento. Those are good cars, but not that good! Both of us where totally stock. I'm far more worried about Integra type R's and Celicas than I am the overpriced Civic. Bottom line: all of our cars are slow little commuter cars whether they be Civics or Protege's. The MP3 and the Si are just fancier versions of those same little commuter cars. The only time either of these cars becomes worth much performance-wise is when you upgrade the suspensions and engines. I'm not quite sure what makes a Civic worth so much money(Hype!?). I think the Protege is appropriately priced for what it is, an economy car. The Civic is an economy car as well but is not necessarily priced like one because they have a bunch of goofball kids talked into thinking it is some kind of high performance car once you slap some stickers and a wing on it! Price/performance comparison the Protege wins everytime. Even on looks, I think the Pro is far more attractive. Everyone thinks the car they drive is the best because they don't want to feel like they made a bad decision.

Ha, who cars if Proteges get bashed!
Do not respond to stupid posts on rice pages, they don't care about Protege autox/road race wins, because they NEVER autocross, just talk smack and do "fly by ricing".
Your replies just prove the point that Protege is a *** car and that we are offended.
Some people think that NASCAR is best racing in the world....Do you want to argue with them?

Here's the a picture of that cavalier I mentioned before... it's the first picture in the third row... The page that it links to doesn't look to be updated because the pics are old. Anyways....

And DO NOT bash this car. If you haven't seen it in person, you have NO idea. It is truely a work of art, even though it's a cavalier.

Hey Guys, don't bother bashing those Honda Boys, personally I don't want our cars to be too much in the import scene. I like having a unique car that drives like a dream. I don't want to see some big AZZ wings coming out the back of it with some huge rally style headlights! Our cars are sweet as it is. I hate seeing them funky colors like torquoise on the car and stickers that say type r when it is clearly not. Let's keep our cars a secret and zoom zoom!

LOL. Check out the Readers Rides.

According to this guy Craig Liebermann with his R34 Skyline is a reader of his site. LOL, yeah right.

EDIT: Also just noticed that he ripped the pics from Speed Options review of Craig's car. lol.
