I dont think it applies to the mini because that has a hard-drive and moving parts that can break easily, as apposed to the nano which is a flash based played which is much more shock-proof due to no moving parts...

My IPOD Mini has been great. Except that time i forgot and left it in the car.... in the midde of august..... in the sun...... yeah... but Apple replaced it. YAY Apple service plan FTW! I wish they would have used flash mem for the mini's too, but how would they keep making money unless they have new and better all the time. Let me know how the little nano works. Do they have a Itrip for it yet, where it will play thru your FM stations in the car?
