It sounds strange, but there is something about going into the shower with a scrubby face and fuzzy head, then coming out all cleaned up, with my bald-*** head gleaming - makes even a bad day feel better - like a cleansing, of sorts.
Sounds like you're hanging in pretty good man. All that's left is to give that ******* "buddy" of yours a coupl'a solid belts. He deserves it (and so do you!)

oh i know it, man emotional break downs suck..... and try having one when you're driving 90+mph down a city road, ask bryan about this, i totally fucked up my SE-Rs suspension and tires and crap because of this......

Back in the day (high school) I did not give crap about girls or friends. They always pissed me off, so I concentrated on ME!
I built my cars, raced them, had a hell of a good time! I had a girl on the side for romance and a friend to go skiing with only every other weekend or so. Nothing to tie me down.
So, blow the chicks off/ditch the jurks and focus on the fun part of high school. Life is going to get much tougher, so don't sweat it now.
Be YOURSELF! Pull up to school in the coolest ride, don't even look at the other jurks and leave lots of rubber. Cool, calm, calculated will get you what you want.

Believe me im 19 just out of high school.
High school is so much easier than college.
I just found out that im failing 4 out of 5 classes, going to end up dropping one of them but not sure which one.
Im 4 hours away from any friends. I drive home every weekend to do stuff with them and to keep my self out of trouble here at school.
I dont mind the drive there, it gives me time to relax and to think about things. But the drive back OHH GOD. I hate it, cause I know what im going back to.
Next semester im going somwhere closer to home.
Take it easy
