internal turbo

well i was talking to a kid at the track and he had a del sol. i was talking to him and he said that he just now bought the car yesterday and he wanted to see how fast it was. when talking about mods he said there is like a internal turbo. WTF i was thinking i never seen one of those. well i said to see under the hood in look at it. well the hood went up and there was nothing that made it look like a internal turbo was on there. i said if he could point it out so that i can know what it was. he said that he did not even know where it was and anything like that. i said if he was for sure that it was not v-tec, then i asked him to explain what the engine sounded like. this is what he said about half the way up the power band the sound of the engine changes and he starts to go a little faster ( aka more power) i asked again are you sure that is not v-tec and he said yes it was a turbo.

well the ? is, is there any thing like what he is talking about or is it another stupid honda drive. you tell me

I had a realy stupid friend who was going to buy a truck, and was told it had air conditioning so he brought it home and I checked it out and the air blew hot, I asked him where is the AC button and he said it did not have one. He could not understand why the air blew cold in the morning when it was 50 degrees and didn't when it was 80. MORON it did not have AC. I thought I would share that because this story took me back.

I think both of you are wrong. its actually internal nawz. that is just automatically activated at a certain rpm., and you never have to refill the bottle.
I wonder if this guy is interested in buying a bridge??

ok my buddy showed me this and it was too funny and i had to reply:

the VTEC model del sol came with a B16A2 DOHC VTEC motor
the Si model del sol came with a D16YZ8 SOCH VTEC motor
the S model del sol came with a D15B7 SOHC

i cannot beleive people can be that stupid, i wonder if he is on my honda vision site i hope so so i can bomb his house, please understand that not all honda owners are like this, however a big chunk of them are....

hopefully you see him again and cripple his tiny pathetic legs to keep him away from cars, people like him and the 40,000 others like him give people like me a bad name

BTW i drive a 93 Honda Del Sol Si, dont throw any rocks, please

"MY HONDAVISION SITE" as in a sense that thats where I go to post in forums, find info, and alow others to hear my opinion if they ask for it. I didnt claim ownership of the site, like anyone on this board cares, as it seems they are mostly biased against honda (owners at least) and do not even know of or care what HONDAVISION is.

No im not dez, Im sorry if I got your mad with my improper grammer in an off-topic forum. I didnt realize it was THAT important, apparently it is to some people.

You must have gotten beat up alot in school or still do eh?

BTW: I was just wondering why you even went out of your way to post that? I see your a mod, also on HV, and figured even most mods know not to change topics.

well this is the update. well i saw the kid at school and i was talked to him some more and i knew already that he knew his V8's so when he said this to me i did not think that it was true. Well i told him that there is nothing called a internal turbo and but he needs to look again. i asked what kind it was and he said that it was a Si. So the kid just has a D16 V-Tec. Even thou it would win or be a close race i don't think i want that car. he said that once he has plates on the car that he would let me drive it. After the test drive i will let you guys know what it was like.
